Frequently asked questions
How much does Grenada citizenship cost?
The lowest entry is the $235,000 NTF contribution, which covers a family of up to four. With the official application, due diligence, processing and interview fees, one person pays at least $244,000, before agent and document costs.
Do I need to live in Grenada?
Not as of October 2026. The IMA says no visit is needed at any stage. A regional residence requirement was announced, but IMA Circular No. 2 of 2026 postponed it until the regional regulator is operational and a start date is agreed.
Who can be included in the application?
A spouse, children under 18, children up to 30 whom you support, adult children with disabilities, parents and grandparents, and single siblings aged 18 and over without children. There is no limit on the number of dependants.
Can citizens of Russia apply?
No. According to the IMA, applications from citizens of Russia and Belarus have not been accepted since 31 March 2023. Citizens of North Korea and Iran are also excluded.
Does the passport help with the United States?
Grenada has an E-2 investor treaty with the US. Since December 2022 US law requires three years of continuous domicile in Grenada for people who became citizens by investment, so it is a medium-term plan, not an instant visa.
